Depositions are very important in the defense of Malpractice claims. This course describes the process of depositions, when they are used, and what to expect when being deposed. Throughout the webinar, you will gain advice on how to prepare for a deposition and how to conduct yourself during the deposition process including behavioral tips and how to respond to certain types of questions. Our presenters will describe the role of counsel and what to avoid during a deposition.

Carl’s practice focuses upon professional liability an a variety of legal liability claims. He acts as defense counsel in both the State and Federal Courts, including accountants, attorneys, directors and officers and a variety of professionals. He is admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Carl also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation. He has successfully resolved numerous cases through alternative dispute resolution methods.

As part of his practice, he has both defended and prosecuted business and commercial-based claims on behalf of his clients.
Harvey has prosecuted and defended security based lawsuits in federal and state courts and before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Harvey is a member of the Federal Trial Bar, the State Bar of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Harvey received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Harvey also received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
